I can post pics here soon, so be ready for an update. Now, my friend when she rescued him (from a 2x5 cage with 2 other males and a female!) that he was a year old. We don't believe them one bit! He's got old man signs lol lipoma (I believe is what it is called?), he's got sure cataracts in one eye, and you can just tell over all... he is not 1. We are going to stick with 3.5-4 But, he is active, eating, etc. A few questions concerning his manly bits lol
Now, the other male I have is a skinny pig, and he is generally easy to keep clean. No hair in the way, is a bonus. For Shaggy, he is just that - shaggy!
1. I came across a problem. His penis doesn't really...come out. I've seen guinealynx pics, but... nothing like my male! :/ I'll upload a pic here soon.
2. I used warm water and Q-tips to get rid of some debris. Can someone say...yuck!? Nobody has cared for him, before my friend rescued him...However, he doesn't seem impacted, I am just wondering...there's talk of "mineral oil". Now for people sometimes you can use EV olive oil, instead...can I, are no? He does have some greenish brown "wet" poo in there, but his poops are normal and not soft.
3. any tips and tricks to help me with my fuzzy buddy? Nobody might've cared for him during his life, but I am sure gonna try to make up for their mistakes
edit: sorry for bad pics... also, there is still some debris hiding in there. (today is cleaning day anyways, so he'll have some nice fleece to go to)
