April only eat half a hay rack a half cup of pellet and and equivelent of on piece of lettuce each day. She has eaten this way since I got her in January is this enough?

How much hay do you put in the hay rack everyday? A half cup of pellets is an awful lot if she is over 6 months. If she is under 6 months, she needs unlimited pellets but if she is over 6 months she only needs 1/4 cup max per day of pellets. Is it a whole leaf of lettuce or what? She needs 1 cup of fresh veggies a day and more than just lettuce.

I ment a half bowl of pellets which and the bowl is about a half cup and her hay rack is full but she enjoyst dumping it on the floor

Have you tried feeding her other types of veggies like cilantro, parsley, bell pepper, green beans, kale, cucumber, tomato, etc.? Sometimes they won't eat it the first time you give it to them. You have to give her a small piece every day for several days if she won't eat it the first time. Usually after 4 or 5 days of doing this, you will know if she will eat the new veggies or not. Leaf lettuce isn't real high in Vitamin C but dark leafy green, bell pepper and cilantro are good sources of C.

As Ly said, make sure you are giving veggies high in Vitamin C. Try different kinds and leave them in the cage for a few hours. Don't give up. Especially try peppers which come in an assortment of colors. Make sure you dont give the hot ones. Some piggies like green peppers more than red, or yellow more than orange. You have to try them all to see what your piggy likes. Maybe try to keep the pellets out of the cage for a day and only give veggies. You have to try various things to see what works best for you. I would be giving a Vitamin C supplement (tablet) just in case you feel you piggy is not getting enough Vitamin C.

does your pig have a friend? alot of times picky pigs will eat anything once they have some competition for it.

also try chopping up new veggies in really small and mixing in it with the lettuce chopped up too.
