My work is currently having a sale on noodle rugs and they're really soft. I was wondering if I could put one in the cage for my older guinea pig or should I not?

I wouldn't. They look like invitations to chew, to me.

I give my girls noodle rugs, they don't chew them but the poops are pretty hard to shake out of them.

Is that the material that locker rugs are made out of? Like these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B008R...locker+rug&dpPl=1&dpID=41yXnWPQmSL&ref=plSrch
If so I love using these for my piggies! They really enjoy laying on them and they don't chew on them at all. They also add a bright and cozy touch to the cage! I think this would be great for an older piggy especially, as they could do with some extra comfort and padding. Certainly recommend you buy one to try it out!
