Newspaper?

I use newpaper and then fleece for bedding. Everyone says that they put 2-3 layers of fleece, what do you mean by layers? Is it like the sheets? I usually put a thick layer of it, but I wanted to know what you guys meant.

When I used to use fleece, I used four layers of newspaper. One sheet is just a little too small to go the two grid's length. just making so there are at least 3 sheets covering every area.

I use fleece with batting about a 1/2" thick then I sew the batting to the fleece on both sides with my cage it takes about five rows of stitching down the entire peice of fleece with the batting then I just roll it up take it outside and shake it real good and put it back down it stays odor free for about 3 to 4 days. then I throw it in the wash and then dry it. The batting stays in place because of the stitching. My pigs also use a litter box to pee in and they do a lot of pooing in it too. Which is fine with me.

Do you guys mean a fleece BLANKET? Or fleece bedding? If it's a blanket, don't the piggies urinate on it? How often do you wash it?
