Newbies and Respect

I have been part of a discussion that started as a "thread". I have chosen to leave that discussion, yet I feel that I still have something to say. I was not aware that there is rule on any forum site that you must defer to the "older" registered users. I do respect others opinions, as I would hope others would respect mine. We do not have to agree, but I would think we are still entitled to our opinion, whether we have posted 5 times or 150 times.

As someone on this other thread recommended, I checked my postings. I can only see where I might have made an error in using capitals. I understand that may be construed as yelling. In fact, I was not yelling, just accentuating the word. (I do apologize for that). I have used proper English, checked my spelling and punctuation where needed.

If there is another set of guidelines out there (not the guidelines I agreed to when I became a registered user), I would appreciate someone directing me to that information.
But as far as using this forum correctly, per the agreement as a "registered user", I have not done or said that would be considered inappropriate. I understand that these may be just general common sense guidelines, maybe something that is not written, just assumed(or is it "presumed"-I always get that mixed up).

I will continue to view this site...I have learned that others are sharing the same issues with their pets that I have encountered with mine. And that is a comfort.

I think I agree with you. Some people seem to be mean and judgemental on this board. <img src=(broken link removed) ALT="">

Re: Newbies and Respect

I agree 100%! It is the due of their times that tell that they have posted 4,000 times whatsoever, I wish that this one million posts will mean one million knowledge and help. I amazingly honor 1 single post that gives out hundreds of information, sure there are lots of information but I mean those information that tackles the topic and lighten the sense of this forum.
Opinions, do we really know what this mans? for many NO. They know who they are. I have encountered such humoristic (is there such word?) and childish threads, yet it teaches common lesson that are not likely well understood by some up to this moment.

As for this quote angelpro "Kindly re-read your messages, thanks." My point isn't your capitalization, neither your language or punctuation as I myself made tons of them. Actually it's LuvMyAnimals that am requesting to do so, you may realize yourself that you don't put a wrong voice-outs on your post, then you may realize that you are not the one am trying to request to-to re-read a post. And also, capitalizing a word or two is ENCOURAGED if you want to exclaim a word.

I've been here since last November as an official member, but I have post threads as early as June of 2001. So what? Who cares?

Everyone are entitled for respects and to also pay back respects. Being pathetic and very offensive is like saying how guilty you are. YES I agree there are some posters here which I can describe as Ignorant, but still everybody can get-by the next topic around.
Mistakes have taught us lessons, ignoring that lesson learned is a complete pice of nasty. Rule are given out repeatedly. By viewing the (broken link removed) we can analyze what's prohibited and what's not in this forum or board, and afterwards tries not to commit such. respect must be equal both to older or newer ones, not a slight difference.

About spellings, puctuation and dictions. You may see some or almost ALL of my post have typos and all kind of mismismis, This is an international forum so a wee bit of wrong grammar are exceedingly acceptable as long as it is still understood by majority. Spelling-same.
NOTE: This may be a funny one: I just learned to speak and write english a year and a half ago. But I know how to differently use your, you're, their, there, they're. I hate it when other english-speaking-raised are still having bad times differentiating it.

Re: Newbies and Respect

I agree with both of you.

Hey Angelicum, did you know the English language is one of the hardest languages to learn? This is because there are some many similar words like there and their which have totally different meanings.

I'm glad you know the difference between these similar words... and being that you learned the English language a year and a half ago, I say that you type better than some people who grew up knowing the English language~!

Thank you

Yes Star, of all Five langguages that I at least encountered, english has really been the hardest, literally it really is not for me cause I grew up with a very bit of english language used by both my parents, but I know it will be really hard if I don't have any idea with this language.
French is far more the second most difficult that I don't really get it, Japanese and Spanish are exceedingly easy to learn specially spanish as it uses the same forms and placement of words as how the filipino language (tagalog) is made up.

Re: Thank you

That's excellent! I would love to be able to speak more than one language. It would take me a long time to learn a different language, but I'm sure it would be handy some where in the future. :)

Re: LANGUAGES

Good luck with mastering the English language. I am trying
to teach 2nd and 3rd graders short vowel words and rhyming words!!! It is not easy!!! But a good teacher and a willing student will always prevail!!! You sound like a very good student!:D
