But as you've already no doubt found out, guinea pigs are social animals and do far better with a friend. If you do get one tomorrow, try and get two.

I'm very excited to see that you joined before getting guinea pigs! I kinda wish I would've done that so I would've known what to expect lol.

Once you get them, you'll look back at your life and wonder how you ever lived without them!


If you have any questions, just ask! And as for the actually obtaining the guinea pigs part, (if you don't have anything in mind yet) I would suggest checking all local shelters first. Even ones that are mainly cat/dog will often have guinea pigs for adoption.
