New squeaky

That same old petstore story. The lady buys a female guinea pig. It's already pregnant. About 1 1/2months later there are more guinea pigs than they know what to do with. She was going to keep them all in a petstore cage so somehow this little girl found her way to my house.

She's made friends with Toffee(who's name keeps changing still). Toffee pulled the food dish under the log house for both of them and told Rolo to get lost. Rolo is being a bit of a spoiled brat and saying all houses belong to her and new babies should go away.

I want to call her Cookies but Chris won't agree.

We're going to extend the girl's cage 2 more grids out over the boys cage. The 2 cages sit end to end with the boys cage on floor level and the girl's on a stand for supplies to sit under. This will give the 4 girl's a 2x7 and I might stick a 1x2 hayloft on it. I have now completely reached my limit for guinea pig cages in an apartment.

This little girl has got personality to spare lol When you pick her up she rumbles at you and wiggles to be let down. As soon as her feet hit the ground she's bouncing around popcorning. She never sits still. I think the older ones are getting annoyed. They were running around the house and she took off popcorning out of line. Rolo got mad and nipped her for it. Rolo is always in front and noone is suppose to pass her. Snickers keeps cleaning around her ears and rearend. Toffee just seems happy there's someone lower in the rank than her, but I think this little one is going to be ruling the cage when she gets big enough. I weighed her at around 9.5oz an hour ago.
