Hi guys, I am new here. I joined to gain some insight and help. My guinea pig recently gave birth to a litter of 4. The two youngest are the two runts and all 4 were delivered just fine. I am new to owning guinea pigs, I rescued the male and female from an abandon home used for breeding I am assuming, either way she was pregnant.

The two youngest seem to have trouble with their eyes, the first one after I used a warm cloth to wipe away eye boogies have been keeping them open as normal rather than closed... Still has a little eye gook here and there and I wipe it away as soon as I notice it. The second one however, the one eye is staying closed, she can open it but keeps it closed, no matter how I wash or wipe the eye more gook comes back.

Both act fine eat fine and love cuddling and get around their area just fine.

I feel so bad though, they're my babies and I don't like seeing them this way.

Help?

Sounds like an infection to me. I'd see a vet for some antibiotic eye drops and an evaluation as to whether anything else is going wrong.

BTW, I changed the name of your thread. "Please help" doesn't give anyone any indication of what the thread is about.
