I would not worry at all about the wheeking. One of mine wheeks so quietly you have to listen hard for it, but she wheeks her head off when it's time to eat.

Quick question! I was looking up possible side effects of metacam to look out for in sammy. In doing so, I'm afraid the dosage he was prescribed is too high. He's 1.5 pounds and the vet said to give 1.4 ml a day. Is this right?

We'd have to know what strength the medication is before we'd know whether it's too strong. Is there a label on the bottle that says some like "x grams/cc" or "x grams/ml" or "x% solution?"

Actually, I may be completely wrong. It may be 0.14 ml. I'll post a picture of the label when I get home in an hour or so just to be sure.

That sounds more like it, but it really does depend on the strength of the medication.

Yep, and that's definitely POINT 4 ml, not 1.4 ml. BIIIGG difference.
