soooo after moving in currently 2 days and a Weeks worth of unpacking and settling in we are in our new place which i'm excited to share has a exclusive piggie room! ! we added another Piggie!!!!i feel really Good cuz i didn't buy him in a store or buy him at all i adopted him someone who adopted a Piggie which turned out pregnant and had a boy which she could not keep. so the introduction went pretty Good since he is a baby there wasn't really any fighting at all over who was boss although i will say lucky might have felt a little macho and decided to maybechallenge not only the littler one but Bailey also which then was a fail. so there was friction between Bailey anddddd lucky. lucky got nipped a few times nothing major no blood but Lotta of chattering.but then i noticed how lucky and Bailey were note not seeing eye to eye so i kept quiet and watched and it seems like Bailey had a fatherly instinct in him because he only lunged and went after lucky anytime lucky got near the new one and the new one would cry out. i mean it was the most adorable thing because Bailey really was the barrier and anytime he heard the little one he would come to his rescue and lucky was just annoyed trying to get big buy quickly reminded e who was dominant piggie they are good now with the exception that lucky is a little bit weary about getting to close to Bailey but Bailey did allure him tomount the little one .anywho he is completely adorable and i wanted to share pics i will be (God willing) expanding their cage but er been battling with names so wed like your opinion!!! so far we got Oscar, simba, squirt, peanut, Remy and jr. anyone see another name that fits? lol stalk away =) open adoption =)

I know he was a little wild lol. I tried to handle him everyday and give him floor time but he wasn't having much of it. The only place he really settled was when I put him in my hoodie pocket lol. I figured he would settle after he had some other piggy interaction, he had a hard time being separated from him momma. He really loves peppers just to let you know! I love the name Remy! Fits him perfectly! I

LOL @CrazyMom Feel better now? :D

I like Squirt. Is it a name he'll be able to hold onto as he gets older though? Would sound silly to me to call an old man Squirt, but then again, younger piggies are just a smaller version of bigger piggies- they are ALWAYS cute! So the name might stick after all.

If you're looking for other possibilities, I'm dry. I don't really have any thing else. He was Gus, right? What about "Guess"? LOL. Just kidding!

Congrats on the new piggy! I hope he tells you what his name is soon. :)

great i thanks hrr also loves grapes #!!!!

I like Remy because I'm a Disney fan. Simba is cute, too. It's what hubby would have wanted to name Borat if we knew he was a boy when we got him, but I didn't want something close to Mufasa because it still hurts me to think of our baby boy. Squirt is cute too (as Disneyfied as I am, it makes me think of the little sea turtle).

I've been battling names Gus just seemed to laid back for him lol so that is why wed like to change it if not would have stayed Gus but i see a hyper piggy, so i been battling names Dexter was even on mind but i don't know keep em coming

I didn't mean you had to keep the old name. My little joke was why don't you call him "Guess"? (A play on words. :) )

Ever seen Sarah Plain and Tall? Guess was her husband's dog when he was a boy. :D

I was just joshing though. I think Guess is a very funny name. I'm not sure I'd ever call an animal that! :p

Side note: Second pic is a bit dark. I can't see him.

How sweet. Please don't hesitate to change his name! That is kinda what just came out when I talked to him! Usually I called him lil man though lol. Your kids seemed so excited yesterday and they look like they are very good with piggies. I was so happy to find him such a wonderful home! Putting the life of an animal in someone else's hands is a scary thing, but I feel so much better now.

(broken link removed) It is so nice when you can stay updated for a while with an animal you've adopted out. He sounds like he has a lovely home.
(broken link removed) Congrats on your new addition and new home! I like the name Dexter. The young pigs are usually more skittish, but I think he'll do fine with 2 older boars to show him the way. Have fun!

they really love him and so am i and secretly so is my husband he fell for him hard

Thank you! That's exactly what I wanted to express to CrazyMom who gave the piggy to geo13! :D (I don't have piggies yet, nor have I ever had. I want to, though, and that's why I'm here- to learn. :) )

Kinda awesome how you two can stay connected on this site. Kudos you two for the successful adoption!
