Hello all,
I'm new to C.C and just thought i'd drop a message to everyone. I'm the proud new slave to 2 cuties. Sliky and Cleopatra are my new Mistresses. Silky is a reg cavey with a bit of the actual "silky" breed in her (her hair is a bit longer then most regs i've seen. Silky is about 10 weeks old, and already she is becoming tame to my hands. Cleopatra (Cleo) is an Abbyissian (sorry bout the spelling) and sort of has the markings of a black skunk, execpt the white is tan instead. She is about 8 weeks old and still abit skittish of my hands. I have them in a 7 foot by 2.5 foot home made cage with lid that locks. The lid and lock isn't so much to keep them in but the keep the (well meaning) kids from always trying to pick them up and the dog from becoming to interested. Aswell my lovies have window screen on all sides so that they have lots and lots of ventalation and light. They have 3 hidy holes and a 2 story platform with tons of hay and veggies. I'm in the process of making some toys for them. I hit the dollar store and found the brown paper lunch bags, which has been a great hit with them. I was gonna make them some hay filled stuffies from the kids older stuffies but wanted to know what the deal was with the hard button eyes and noses, are they sopose to be removed or can they be left on? Each night, when the kids go to bed and its quiet, my Mistresses get tons of floor and lap time. A favorite place to be is in the sleave of my Piggies Coat, (a polar fleece zipper coat that i have.)
Anyways its so nice to see that there are people out there that are as devoted to Piggies as I am.
