This is an anti-breeding, anti-showing, anti-petstore, and pro-vegitairinan (sp?) forum so don't be suprised if you get some unfriendly responses. I think showing is wrong personnally, but...

Anyway Congrats! And feel free to ask any questions.

I agree. Showing is an uneeded stresser.

But welcome. Here you can learn how to improve your pig's life. Check out www.guinealynx.com, too.

Also, as a tip, use proper punctuation, spelling, and capitalization.

jmuir, welcome to cavy cages! Hope you stick around long enough to get the kind of information you desire. Don't let unfriendly responses deter you. While I do not breed or show pigs, I am certainly not a vegetarian and since I will not pay outrageous prices for certain pet necessities, I am also not 100% anti petstore. Anyway, welcome.

hi, i am 14 years old and live just outside philadephia. My name is Grace by the way. i would love to have a penpal. I also have 3 pigs as well. Here is my email: [email protected].

you can email me, then i;ll give u my address. I'd rather not give it over the internet if you know what i mean!

Hope to talk to you soon!

Grace

Your welcome to be here on the forum but like as was mentioned earlier we are an anti-showing board. I think if you talk about the pigs and leave the showing out, you will get better help.

OFF TOPIC:
Guinea_Gal: Grace, email is the internet. Please ask your parents before you give ANYONE your addresss. It can also be best to not give out your name and age. Please discuss with your parents internet rules and safety.

Agreed %100 with you Ketus15

This website has a "Pig Pals" program for new guinea pig owners to talk with experienced mentors on a long term basis. They also have screening criteria for mentors working with anyone under 18 years old. (But personally, I believe that all activity should be monitored by an adult)

https://cavymadness.com/

Also, many of your questions may already be answered on this board in different threads. Thank you for taking time and interest in your daughters pet, because you will most likely be the most important person providing every day care for the guinea pig.

Good show, Piglets-Angel, Thanks! We are such a friendly site for younger people, I don't want anyone to get hurt!
