General New guinea pig with crusty scab between ear and eye and 1st time gp owner

Hello all! I am in need of some help. Earlier this week we got 2 female guinea pigs. They both seem to be doing okay with eating and drinking. They don't eat a ton of the pellet food but love the hay/straw stuff. I noticed on the smaller one she has a crusty scab between her one eye and ear. When i touch it she flinches. It seems to be getting bigger. Any idea what it could be?

It could be a few different things. If you can, post a good clear picture and someone with better knowledge than I can help you understand it.

I am trying to figure out how to post a picture. I have one but when i go to manage attachments i can't seem to get it to attach. I am new to this site too.

At manage attachments, Select Add Files at the top. This will open another dialogue box that will say "Select Files". Click there, and a box will open on your computer. You need to locate the photo you want to attach, and once you've found it, click upload files. It will then appear in the bottom of Manage attachments. Make sure it is checkmarked, and then click at the bottom where it says "Insert Inline."
