I had two pigs that I got as babies. The one passed away but her sister, Penelope, is alone now.

Chloe, my other pig that lives alone, was given to me by someone who could not afford her vet bills. She never got along with the pig that passed away so I figure I would try to introduce her to Penelope. I put them in a large neutral space with hay and veggies but Penelope attacked the other pig. We had to go to the vet she was bleeding so badly.

I don't want Penelope to be alone since she seems depressed, but I am worried about her attacking another pig.

Chloe did instigate the fight but still..

I just need some advice on what to do next.

Just a quick and dirty answer to perhaps help your situation....

You COULD try a divided cage to start with. Just make sure the divider is secure so that neither pig can get through or around it, but they can still see, hear, talk to and smell each other.

It could be a start. Neither would be alone.
