New bedding????

no, havnt heard of it, but the title says ponderosa pine......

i would investigate it more before using it.

I've seen it before.

All it is is pine bedding (toxic) with some green coloring added. Woop-de-doo.

It's not good, just like normal pine is bad. Thanks for asking!

I don't think it is good as well. It contains coloring chips.

Yeah, it is bad pine to begin with, and them claiming that clorophyll makes it better is totally wrong. I would definitely not get it.

Pine is BAD???? ok i'm so confused, i read here and there, some says pine is harmless, some says it's bad~ ahhhhhhhh!!! is it GOOD or BAD?? does it bring mites to guinea pigs? oh i also read shredded paper is a good choice for bedding.....has anyone tried that?

Ok wow, don't freak out lol. Kiln Dried Pine is safe, you can use it as soon as you get it. It should have no smell at all except natural wood smell. Regular Pine shavings are bad. But you can make them safe by airing them out in a plastic container or garbage can for 2-4 weeks. Depending on how much you are air drying. Don't use it if it still smells like pine make sure it just smells like normal wood.
Shredded paper is alright as long as their is no ink on it I belive but not positive. Shredded newspaper is also alright if the newspaper uses natuaral dyes. With any type of shredded paper a cage gets messy quickly and you have to clean in every 1-2 days. I don't reccomend it.

The Pine they are talking abouty above is bad becuase the chlorophyll is just an added dye with no use.

Yeah, shredded paper absorbs nothing, that's like trying to use computer paper as a paper towel, we just don't do it because it doesn't absorb anything at all.

Thanks everyone! I was just curious.... I was not thinking about using unless it turned out that it was great or something.

ok, I know this product because we sell it at my store! lol It's NOT good for anything but your fireplace!! if you bought it take it back and tell the person who told you it was OK to get that he/she is a moron and that he/she could have killed your pig! Didn't you guys catch the 'chlorifill' (sp??) part in the discription?!? It's made to keep down the odor of urin I guess., but no only is it pine, but it has chemicals in it...don't use it...ever! lol If you bought it at a petco then take it back because they will refund your money in full no questions asked. Even if you used it. They have aspen bedding there, it's a bit more expensive, but it's worth it.

i thought the chlorophyll was dangerous, but i didnt want to attack it without being 100% sure. LOL. no, i dont think she purchased it, she was only curious about the product.

oooh, mncavylover, i just typed a smiley face here, and then i remembered it was YOUR trademark, so i deleted it......just for you!!!!!!! LOL.
