New Bedding "Long Beach Shavings"

Well I have found an entirely new bedding that no one has seem to have heard of on cavy cages, Its not even listed. Heres the link to the bedding I bought:

I bought this particular bag at my local pet store ( 8 cubic feet for $7.50!!) and there website doesnt sell them individually and Im guessing there only in California. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone has tried this bedding before?
They say its safe for small animales and it has no chemicals and I asked them if it could have cedar in it, and it doesnt at all and its soft, absorbent, and has a smell, but not as strong as pine alone. Its a very different smell to, I have never smelled anything like it, but its fine, I can barley get a wif of it after its been aired out.
anyways, please tell me anything that you guys know about it.

Nope, never heard of it either. I do see that it has pine in it. I doubt it is kiln-dried. You may want to let it air out for a couple days before you use it in the cage and that will help tone down the natural wood odors.
