how much would it cost to nuder a male piggie? when my piggie had babys gave one of them to my boy friend and he wants to get a buddy for him know, and i know males have to be nudered befor being put with other piggies or theyll fight or get the females prago. so how much on avrage is it, and at what age can it be done?

You don't have to neuter males that live together. You do if you plan to house a male with females. The cost varies by vet. I paid $125 in northern IL and it included any follow up office visits pertaining to the neutering.

i mean he wants to get two males but im worryed about them bonding and and fighting. his piggiy is only a few mounths old and was only with his mother and play mates for about 4 weeks.

If you're worried about possible aggression between two boars, neutering isn't the answer. Neutering does not change the personality of a boar, nor will it lessen the chance of aggression.

okays thanks guys !

If you follow the intro steps on CavySpirits webpage, hopefully everything will go over well! For the most part, boars will get along fine if they are given enough space. There might be a bit of mounting, chasing and rumblestrutting but that's normal. In very rare instances some pigs will not tolerate a friend.
Good luck with finding your pig a new buddy!

Space is key. If the cage isn't big enough you could be looking, at the very least, bored and unhealthy pigs, and at the very worst a large vet bill. Have you checked out the cage size standards?
