Need help with making a outdoor place for my cavys to run around!

Um I know I am suppose to let my piggys run around outside and stuff so i was wondering if I got get ideas on how to make a good easy and stong thing for them to play in.

You could make a really nice pen out of wood and chicken wire. Are there many predators where you live? If so, then you will need to make a lid that will be fastened onto the pen wiyth hinges.

Um I live in Hawaii and there are mongooses (sorry don't know how to spell that.) and cats so yes I will have to cover it.

Ok, so it will need to be pretty strong. You could add spikes to the edges and then push the pen into the grass so that it remains stable.

With you living in Hawaii, I don't know! It would be cool to make one though... Go to google and type in some keywords -type in rabbit pen though since you will probably get more replies that way.

Fair point - didn't think of that! Do you think you can easily get hold of some mesh or chicken wire? I think it would be really easy to make, just need to find the materials and tools first.

Ya how do I make sure that the wood has no splinters after sanding it?

well I have seen them at local pet stores like Petsmart and Petco. They are made out of wire so they piggies cant chew there way out. They also look pretty big if that helps.
