hi everyone, i've just started building my first cc cage, but ive run into some problems. i accidentally baught the wire square that are 15 inches and each little square is about an inch and a half. it says not to get this if you have small cavy's, (which i do) is there something i could do to bar the lower few boxes?

alos, does the coroplast go insid or outside the wire cage?

any other tips for beginners?

(p.s i got and 8X4 sheet of coroplast for $10,50!)

The coroplast goes inside of the grids.
Since you have small grids, you can always double grid them or attach higher sides. Look in safety section of photo galleries to figure out how. Sorry, I somehow can't get the link.... :(
You can use cardboard for that, just make sure you securly tape it. This prevents them from jumping over and falling out.

yeah, just have like 12" walls instead of 6" walls, that would be my suggestion, and maybe get the "Kidz Gridz" (or whatever they are called) at target, they have alot smaller holes, also you might still be able to exchange or return your big grids for the littler ones, good luck

I think you should make the sides of the coroplast higher too. You got a good price!
