Pregnancy Nead help asap!!!! Baby guinea might be pregnant!

Having read through this whole post I'd like to point out a possibility no one else has. Perhaps one of the pigs was missexed and there is in fact a male mistakenly in with the females. Having never sexed a gpig before I'm not really sure how this is done but having confused a male ferret for a female for 6 months I know the possibility is there.

In a sense it is nice that they're here, because they're getting information on proper piggy care.
From what I've seen, usually when a breeder joins the site, they are allowed to stay and learn so long as they don't advertise that they are a breeder/advocate breeding/etc.
Hopefully the OP decides to research more on this site about why breeding isn't acceptable and the risks involved with doing so.

I didn't say they should get kicked off of the site. You're right that breeders could also benefit from the information. However, it is not nice to broadcast breeding because it is contrary to what this forum stands for. Basically, if you're breeding then it would be more respectful to keep that to yourself.

Wow...aside from how wrong breeding guinea pigs is, I can't even imagine being a breeder at 13! While 13 years old is old enough to be responsible, it's definitely not old enough to breed responsibly. At least an adult breeder may breed with some responsibility and not breed the same sow multiple times. Hopefully the OP will learn about the dangers of multiple births from one sow, at least, and only breed a sow once if she insists on breeding. Preferably no breeding at all, obviously, haha.

Hi I bought 2 guinea pigs a month ago and I think this one might be pregnant. What do you think? She's about 11 weeks old and her belly seems to have gotten bigger since I've had her. Shes's very pear shaped, her stomach is harder, she's drinking and eating a lot and has gained a lot of weight recently (its doubled in a month). Shes eating the same as the other one but much bigger. If she is pregnant, how far along do you think she is?

Maybe, I sometimes feel something like a nudge or a pulse but I'm not sure whether that's her digesting food or it's an actual kick.

Some pigs are naturally pear shaped, round, and chubby. However you can weigh her weekly, or even daily to keep track of her weight but be careful! Handling a possible-mama pig could hurt her or the babies!
