OK, this is going to sound like a really dumb question. Almost every week, I watch a pet keeping program-the host is very knowledgable and talks about all kinds of animals.
Recently there was a trivia question which asked "What is the only thing dogs and guinea pigs have in common?" The answer was that both of their young are called "puppies". I know that male pigs are "boars" and female pigs are "sows", so I naturally thought that their young are referred to as "piglets". Can someone please clarify this for me?? Has anyone else heard of GP young referred to as "puppies"?
Thanks.
