Nails/Nail Trimming Nail cutting.

What would be the best way to trim a not tame guinea pigs nails? I've gotten my guinea pigs about 2 weeks ago so they still aren't used to me but they have really long nails. On one of them is curling a little. Would cutting their nails stress them out to much and set back my progress? Should I wait?

I was having problems with the nail clipping and spy9doc helped a lot with here response.

I was lucky and neither of my piggies needed nail trims until I'd had them at least a month; so I'm not sure if you should wait or not. Hopefully someone else will chime in here!
