Nail Clipping-- They're out to get my veggies!!

I swear, what are wrong with my piggies these days?! Have they figured out?

Everytime I clip their nails now, they are SO freaking fidgity! At first, all was calm... They had a little lettuce to nip on... Then all the sudden. FREAK! Right when I came down on the nail they move their little paws! Causing them to bleed... then I give them more veggies... They'll be content... then .. FREAK! Again! I think they've figured out if I accidentally hurt them they get loads more veggies. Chubby did it once and Ruby did it twice! Ruby did it bad too. Made me so scared! Does anyone else's piggies do those things?

Also, I weighed 3 of them so far. They seem so light now... But I forgot to weight them for 1 1/2 weeks (I know, it's horrible), but I just totally forgot to do so. What's the normal weight? Here's their ages and their weights...

Ruby: 3 years old
Weight: 1,100 grams (about 2 1/3 lbs if I'm reading it right)

Simon: 1 1/2 years old
Weight: 1,300 grams (about 2 2/3 lbs if I'm reading this right)

Chubby: 1 year old on Feb 6
Weight: ONLY 1,000 grams (2 lbs)

Am I reading the grams wrong, I don't have a friggin digital one so I suck at this...
Are my pigs fat, or light, or normal? My vet said that 2.5 lbs even is a bit overweight... But I though 3 lbs was getting on the chubby side...
