I wanted to start a blog so here goes:

Hello, I am a wife to an amazing husband and a mom of 4 children, 2 bunnies and 2 guinea pigs
I was working fulltime until about 2 days ago! I quit my job for a lot of reasons. Since I've been home, my piggies and bunnies have been getting ALL my attention. My children are finishing off their last month of school/daycare so I'm getting some much needed bonding time with my bunnies and guinea pigs

My guinea pigs are 6 months and their names are Gizmo and Hammy. My bunnies are 7 months and 4 monthsa and their names are Happy and Fluffy. They all make me extremely happy! There were pets more-so for me but my kids love them and want the best for them as well..

I am so excited to be a new guinea pig lover!
I used to heave to interest in cavies what so ever until I found a surrendered abby at a pet store. My family and I left the pet store (without the cavy) and I went home and researched for days. When I decided that getting a guinea pig was something that I wanted to do... we went back and the abby was gone. We left the store empty handed again but I am proud to say that we have found not one but two cavies to love! There personalities are so different and I would love to hear your opinion.
Vanilla Bean (Mr. Bean) is an adorable abby that loves to explore and cuddle. I cant get over how he plops down on my chest when I am petting him. Rockie Road(Rockie) is just the opposite. He hides the majority of the day and will only let me handle him for short periods of time. It is really hard to make Rockie to purr or chatter. What can I do to get him to relax? Will he relax? Rockie is older than Mr Bean. I would love your feedback! Thank you

I have two that are very different as well. They are both the same age too. Once is very social and will go crazy when she knows she'll be fed and the other will hide away as well. I would just keep doing what you are doing. Depends on how long you've had them as well. If you've just got them then it will take awhile. He just needs to he's safe.
