My sister's Guinea Pig is acting Strangely!

Well, my sister's guinea pig (named Larry) is acting strangely. He used to be much comfortable with human. Now he is really skittish. A week earlier my sister dropped him. Later we discovered his tooth. Will he ever be better?

Broken teeth take a while to grow back. Um can you tell how far the tooth broke? Did it break all the way off? I would take him to the vet just to make sure he is fine. How far did he fall? What position did he fall on?

He is probaly scared because she dropped him.

Well, #1 he's terrified to be dropped again like Mu said! And #2 he could be hurt somewhere else and that could be causing his nervousness. You should take him to the vet right away because if he fell hard enough to break a tooth, he fell hard enough to hurt his insides or leg or something. And his tooth should be looked at anyway because it could have been damaged to the point that it will need surgery and if it's not taken care of he'll get an infection in it and could...well...he could die. PLease just take him to the vet.

Well thank you for your advice. The tooth was about 1 cm long. After your advice i took it out and examined its teeth. The tooth has grown back. The weird thing is though he is perfectly acting normal except for the fact he is very skittish of humans. By the way he fell from knee level and landed on his fours. I mean he still jumps around on his hidey house and he still stands up for carrots. I dont think he is physically hurt. Is it possible he is mentally hurt. Thank you every one for your advice!
