Lily, Jackie and Dawn
A friend of mine had four rats - three females, one male. One day, she made a stupid mistake, and a few weeks later, she had 26 baby rats. I adopted three sisters.
Lily
She was the leader - headstrong, intelligent, never much for cuddling but all for exploring. Sometimes, it took me hours to catch her after a day out in my room.
Jackie
Second in command. The only one who'd bite just for fun.
Dawn
A lovely, peaceful, snuggly little girl, the one who loved to be cuddled, and the one who had to go first. She died after only two years from a tumor.
Jackie and Lily died from tumors, too. Whoever had the bright idea to breed these lovable, clever little animals for illnesses, I hate him.
