My Poor Little Deacon Passed Away

Deacon passed away two nights ago due to what the vet thought was cancer. I and Brownie miss him very much. It was a very quick and sudden death so he didn't suffer. I have already found a new friend for him, it is just a matter of actually aquiring her. For now, the Brown Man is living with his elephant.

Deacon was estimated to be around 2 when I got him. I have had him not even a year.

yes voodoo it does seem that people are loosing loved ones lately. I am so sorry Amanda, he seemed so young, just think you will eventualy see him again over rainbow bridge.

Thanks everyone. I know he couldn't be saved and take comfort in knowing that he was comfortable until the end. Even then, I dont know if he "knew". Poor Brownie is quite depressed. I think I might need to resort to the syringe now. He is wheeking a lot today. I sent another email to the shelter begging them to hold Sabrina for me or Brownie might not start eating on his own from loneliness. Maybe someone will have a conscience.

Today is the day that my sister is supposed to pick her up. The shelter said that they wouldn't hold her for me, but had no problem with my sister getting her for me. Hope, hope, hope.
