You can consider getting the male neutered. Check with local vets.

Great job on seperating them. Slightly late is better than not at all! Do you know yet if the sow became pregnant?

Here are some ideas from the photo gallery on how to keep the seperate but still be able to see, smell, and hear each other. I've read that some boars can climb out of a cage to get to a sow, so make sure the male's cage has a lid:

I'm not sure how long you will have to wait to find out if she is pregnant. I'm sure someone more experienced will let us know. Here is some general information about pregnancy: https://guinealynx.com/breeding.html

I would be pretty sure she would be pregnant. You may end up with 6 pigs. Don't go to a small animal vet, go to an exotics vet.

You won't know if she is pregnant until she is about halfway through a pregancy or farther. It would be too early to tell. I think the divider sounds fine, they can see each other and talk to each other.

If she is pregnet because she iss so little will it hurt her. There isn't an exotics vet anywhere near here.
Yes, pregnancy is dangerous. But its very important to find a good vet and give good care to make it as easy as possible. And she might not even be pregnant!

What town do you live in, perhaps someone on this forum will be able to help you find one.

One of these HAS to be a small animal or exotics vet.

Oops, you're faster on the trigger than I am, thanks Maxwell.
