I've been following this thread for weeks and can't wait to see the babies! Post lots of pics. Good luck ....hope they come soon.
Yes, the whole thing has really dragged on, hasn't it!!! I'm actually glad I realized she was pregnant early because it has given me the time I needed to get everything prepared! If they had arrived right after I started suspecting, things would not have been nearly as organized.
Tonight I did what I *think* will be the last cage change before the babies come. I went back and forth between doing it and waiting as not to disturb her, but then thought "What if it ends up being another week?" (PLEASE don't let it be another week.) So I went ahead with the change. She runs right into the dog carrier when I offer it to her, so I don't think it was too stressful for her to wait in there for 10 minutes while I got things tidied up for her. I think as long as she has a fresh supply of hay, she is happy!
I seem to be able to see the babies kicking almost every time I watch for it now. I usually can see some movement within a minute! I don't know if I can wait any longer...but since we're so close to the weekend now I kind of just hope she holds out until Saturday!
