Hi guys, as you know I'm new here and yes, I already have a question.. Hope you don't mind! So my little guy Zeke, he's under a year old, a great piggie, so active and such. And, while I was clipping his nails I noticed that on the pads of his feet they seem very dry, rough and possibly scaly... I'm not sure what this is, or what caused it. I will say that I use Critter care bedding, I do not have a wire floor base on my cage, it's hard plastic and lined with fleece. So, does anyone know what could have caused this? I'm a bit worried, but have not done anything about it yet because I wanted to see what other owners had to say, suggest or even share some experiences if they've had this problem also.
His feet aren't red, they are not bothering him, I'm hoping he just has dry skin. But if it is something serious, I will surely take him to the vet. But, to save money is there any type of natural moisture oil I can put on his feet? Maybe vitiman E oil? If not please suggest what I should used. If it's nothing serious then just say so. Thank you for reading! I want the best for my Piggie, he's taken over my heart! Much love, Dannikins.
