My hair????

When I bring my two gp's out alone for alone time with me, they tend to like it up on my shoulder, around my neck, probably to hide lol, but while they are there they eat my hair.....this cant be good for them so what should I do, If i put my hair up they just eat it from the ponytail LOL. So should I not let them sit there anymore???? If not I feel bad LOL cuz they love it up there, but bc cats and dogs cant digest human hair i figure that gp's cant either so any suggestions?

My babies do the same! That's their fav spot If I hold them on my chest they immediately climb up to my shoulder

I can't see that they actually ingest any hair though so I can't see it being a problem But if anyone can actually give me any <em>proof</em> of it being a prob for any other cavy I will stop.

I think as long as you don't have any hair products in your hair like hair spray or gel your pigs are fine. Althought I wouldn't encourage them to eat your hair.

when ever i get harvey out his cage he always clambers up underneath my chin,I guess it's cuz its warm up there.Most piggies probably have found their favourite place to sit on you.

pefectly normal. my pigs love to sit on my chest and shoulders, and i try to put my hair up but sometimes i forget and they grab it and eat it. But they also eat each others hair, so i think its fine. :evil:
