I just got two new baby girls the other day, about 3 months old each.
One is rather calm, while the other is tense all the time. They both came from the same litter and have never been dropped or hurt once. The girl who is tense acts strangely; she prefers to sit in one location, always on alert, while her sister naps or plays. As far as I know, both are eating correctly. I use fleece bedding and for now i'm feeding them timothy hay and pellets. Their water is in a water bowl. There is not any dust where I keep them, and I believe i'm keeping the room at the correct temperature.
Now, on from introductions-
The tense girl I talked about earlier has been acting a bit strange, but the one thing that bothers me is this little puff she makes out her nose. She does it about 9 to 12 times a day. She just quickly gathers up air and puffs it out through her nose. I've checked her nostrils and made sure the room isn't too cold, as well as checked her lungs for any signs or wheezing and crackling nosies. She doesn't seem to have a cold, a neither does her sibling. I'm genuinely confused about what this is- she doesn't seem to do it at any specific time, but sometimes I can just hear a little 'puff' of air from the other side of the room (about 4 feet away.) It doesn't seem like a sneeze, or a sniffle.
