Joy Music + guineas

Do anyone else's pigs have reactions to music like ours? It has been so funny to see how much our guineas (especially Teddy) LOVE Bon Iver's latest self titled album! It's hilarious to watch how comfy they get as soon as it starts playing, I guess it must be really soothing to them! Any other favorites??

My old guinea pigs used to like music. I haven't set up my extra MP3 player yet, but I'm sure all animals with ears appreciate something to listen to. I'm sure animals like snakes and fish don't care one way or another, but it must be a real bore to spend hours listening to nothing. I've been looking for nature sounds with birds and rain, classical music, maybe whales and the ocean... you know the type. Maybe switch every so often and do audiobooks. I know my turtles wouldn't mind. I doubt the mammals would hate it. It gives them something to tell time by.

My new piggy Kevin loves country music, or anything with a good twang. He always popcorns all over when I play it. He is afraid of trumpets though!

My guinea pigs wheek whenever they hear whistling. (probably because I've conditioned them to associate whistling with snack time) I googled whistling songs and they wheeked along with them. It was really funny.

We have never had a television in our bedroom, and we bought one on Black Friday. I think it is just funny how they react to different sounds and music when we watch television. They are just now getting used to all that racket!
