You have all been so wonderful here. All the advice has been very helpful. I hope you all don't get sick of me asking so many questions. I never intended on getting a pregnant piggie, but I am thrilled that I have her and am nervously/excitedly awaiting her little arrivals. I have a couple more questions for everyone.
First, I know they say not to handle them too much especially towards the end of her pregnancy. I am guessing that she is about 6 or 7 weeks along, but no way to know for sure. She will not willingly let me pick her up and I have read about using the towel to wrap her and it sounds like a great idea. My husband and I differ a bit on this. Please let me know what you think and which is correct. He thinks I should just leave her alone completely, just talk to her, until after she has the babies. Then try picking her up. I want her to be comfortable with me now and think I should try gently handling her maybe once a day. I don't want to be selfish. I just want to do what's right for her. Would trying to handle her now, put too much stress on her or should I just wait?
My other question, which may be hard to guage, is how much water should a GP take in daily? I have a 16oz. bottle, and it seems the most she drinks is about 1 oz. Is that enough? She eats like crazy so no concern there, but I don't want her to be dehydrated.
Sorry it's so long for only 2 questions. Thanks again for all the advice.

Depending on what she eats, and how much, she probably gets enough water. Just make sure she has some. If she still poops, nothing is wrong.

Wait. Don't handle her. Pet her a little maybe, if she is comfortable with that, but don't pick her up. Put her cage on the kitchen table or wherever you spend alot of time so that you can be near her and see and talk with her, maybe sit next to her, but leave her alone.

My Muffy is due anytime now and we just found out that she is really pregnant. My husband looked at her and said she is not fat thats a baby in her. So I went inside their C&C cage and talked to her and she let me feel her belly for awhile and I felt at least 2 babies moving in her belly so Im waiting until she has her litter. Muffy had a baby when I first got her back in September. My other Piggie Peanut just had 5 babies on november 14th.

Try not to pick them up much or at all. Unlike my Peanut she loves to be on our lap and she would walk up to my hands and arms and lets me pick her up like a baby.
