I'm not sure, but i think my pig has mites. she does not have any bald spots, besides the ones behind her ears, and no dandruff looking stuff, but she sheds allot, and she squeals when i pet her back. she also bites allot. does that mean she has them? i have the stuff to treat for them, but how much should i give her? and will it hurt her if she does not have them? I'm worried about giving to much. and how old do they have to be to be treated? or is that JUST by weight? We got two new babies, and they are only about three weeks old, and i wanted to treat them too, just encase they have them.

:lol: I would get my pig to the vet. It sure sounds like mites, but if there are babies involved I wouldn't take a chance on guessing on meds. If your piggies is uncomfortable you need to take care of this asap. Overmedicating could be extremely dangerous to your piggies and you want to alleviate their discomfort asap.
