Mites Mites?

I've been trying to find as much information as possible about mites, and I don't know if it is just me being paranoid or what... I adopted 2 girls, Nicci and Daisy, from the critter coral rescue (best.place.ever) and both of them are skittish and don't like being pet. I don't know if they are just afraid, but whenever I just leave them alone they seem to be fine, but they do seem to scratch a lot... I don't know what I should do!

Parasites

If you are worried, read up on some of the different kinds of parasites. You can check your guinea pig yourself to see if they have any symptoms or not.

Most guinea pigs don't like being petted in their cage. Most are fine once in your lap, but it will take a while for them to get used to you.
