What we have right now: I bent one grid and put coroplast on the side to keep our guys from hopping onto the rack
A while back in the winter we had second cut Timothy fresh from a local farm and it was fairly easy for the pigs to grab the hay. Our latest batch of hay is a Timothy first cut, also fresh from a local farm. The hay doesn't pack against the grid that well since the hay isn't as soft, so our pigs can't reach the hay very easily. Any ideas?
One idea is to stick a square of fleece inbetween the hay and the grid so that the hay is pushed against the grid facing the pigs.
Another idea is to bend the grid so that it's not as much of a V-shape and more of a U-shape.
