No. Guinea pigs do vary in size and weight greatly, but there is no such thing as a "miniature guinea pig".

Guinea pigs very in size and weight. I don't think one breed is bigger then the other.

Okay. Thats what I thought thanks.
The reason I ask was because someone had said Mini guinea pigs for sale!
So I thought I would ask before checking it out.

Please don't buy any animal, miniature or not. Some breeders sell of pups as vanity 'miniature' pets, and then the new owner is surprised in a few months when the pig no longer fits in the small pet store cage they purchased for it.

Usually they are highly inbred to get them to that mini size and have health issues.

I should certainly hope so, but it's always suspect when a person comes along asking questions like this one and for that reason I'll reiterate that animals should not be bought or bred for any reason, and least of all for specific characteristics like this being "mini." Aside from the obvious cruelty, animals that are bred for their size or for certain features are often sickly, or at least face other health challenges that an animal who otherwise hasn't been bred for certain traits alone. In the process of breeding an animal with these desirable traits, people often lose sight of what's best for the animal, so you end up with creatures that suffer because no one's given any regard to the health or well being of the animal as long as they end up with a hairless pig, a "miniature" pet or an animal with a short nose, ie pug.

I've never heard of a true miniature guinea pig. Like someone already said, they do vary in size, shape, and weight, just like people do.
I heard a few years back something very like this. Someone was trying to sell so-called "mini guineas". It turned out that those people were selling degus who's tails had been amputated. Poor degus!
