mess on the walls

we have a 3 1/2 year old piggie who gets quite a mess on the walls. It looks like splash marks. I don't know if it's from the lettuce we give her or not. Well, we just had the walls painted and the carpet replaced and I don't want any more messes. Any suggestions for stopping this or preventing it on the walls. The cage is on a table near our dining room wall and there is no place else for it.

You could buy like ummm I forgot the name to it but it's like a clear extremely heavy duty plastic and put it on the outside of you're cage. That's what I'm doing with my cage because my piggers kick all their bedding out. I'll try and figure out the name of the stuff tonight...

You could hang shower curtains on the sides exposed to the walls.

We hung a 4x8 sheet of coroplast on the wall behind the cage.
