Meatout 20th Anniversary

Help your community "Kick the Meat Habit" this Spring with the 20th anniversary observance of the Great American Meatout!

Join thousands of animal and consumer activists in all 50 states and 30 other countries in organizing outreach events that get your friends and neighbors to explore a wholesome, nonviolent diet of vegetables, fruits, and grains!

Meatout launches its 20th Anniversary observance with a new website at www.meatout.org and exciting new events! For details, read on below and check out the website!

Hold an event (large or small) on or around March 20... you decide the details. Visit our Action Center at (broken link removed) for ideas. We provide instructions, materials, media, and online Events Directory. You provide a few hours, a lot of heart, and representation for your community.

Organize a Meatout Walk to raise funds that will expand the reach of future Meatout campaigns and increase awareness of vegetarianism in your community. We have awesome prizes for organizers of the best walks! Check details at (broken link removed).

Please register at (broken link removed) or call 1-800-MEATOUT,
even if your plans are incomplete (you can update anytime). You can then request an Event Pack with an official Meatout banner, color posters, handouts, stickers and more!
