I really like that!! My pigs are known for chewing on the coroplast, so this might actually be a great solution to that problem! :cheerful:

that is so adorable!!! I would love to pretty up my cage like that!!! Great Idea! I'm also going to look into mattress pads because I go through SO many towels and washing them can be a pain

Piggies rely on smell and sound more than sight, so I don't think it would be a big deal. They might even feel more secure.

Actually I only put the bumper around the back (where there's a wall anyway) and sides of the cage. So they can climb up and do their usual chow time bar-biting to their heart's content.

I really like those ideas. I am finally redoing my room so I can put a C&C cage in (my mom was all against it and I have finally convinced her). I am going to try the matress pads AND crib things. I am so excited! And I'm sure my pigs will be too. They'll finally be out of their too small petstore cages. YAY! =]
