I have two boys in a minimum space cage. I want to completely revamp a new cage for them from scratch. So im looking for any best ideas for the interior. I know a lot of people do fleece. Does that need to be replaced every time i clean them? What would be a good alternative that i can throw in the washer and clean? for the cage im planning on buying those metal do it yourself cubes. the ones you can build on top of each other for storage. and plywood for the bottom. i had also bought a ramp a while ago and the boys were not interested at all. i think maybe there was no tracsion on the ramp. what would be the best fabric to put on a wooden ramp?

Maybe carpet scraps for the ramp

i would really like to see your after pictures of the cage when your done building it :) im looking into using wood as a base as well.

I used Duck 12" x 20' Select Easy Liner: Household Essentials : Walmart.com and https://www.guineapigcages.com/threads/74734/ when i was using a ramp for Mr. Whistles.

Why are you using wood for the ramp? If you are using coroplast for your cage base you can use what it left over for the ramp's base.

Fleece, I'm not sure what you mean by "replaced when used". Do you mean as in toss out and get a new one? If so, no, just toss it into the washer, load with your detergent and a cup of white vinegar if you wish, and give it a wash.

I meant to say the left over plywood for the ramp. yes i meant toss out. i wasnt sure because ive been using newspaper and the carefresh for their bedding. the fleece then will be a go :).

absolutly :). im very excited to build this new "wonderland" for them haha

How close is Manchester from you? I know Sabic Polymershapes has a location there. You can get a 4ftX8ft coroplast sheet for around $15
