Hi all! I'm new here, and this is my first post.
I am trying to litter train my piggie and it isn't working so well. I'll set him in the litter box and walk away and he will sit there for a while like he is gonna do something, but then he will jump out of the box and go to the bathroom on the bottom of his cage. I've been trying to do this for about a week now and it's not working, i have moved the litter box to everyspot he seems to be going to the bathroom, and when i put it there, he finds a new spot. So if anyone has any information on how to train guinea pigs, or how to help me... please help!
and this is another thing i was wondering about, what does everyone think of using aspen shavings for bedding? i've been thinking of switching to that because it is cheaper and easier to find than the stuff i'm getting now. I heard that it is better than pine and ceder. Is it much better? or will it still cause problems?
Thanks!
Britt
