Wood Pellets/Chips Litter box cleaning

I have a litter box with wood pellets and I was wondering how often to change it out. Right now I'm on the 9th day of using it with no smell. I have heard that wood pellets on the coroplast, not in a litter box will last for months but some people also say to change your litter box more often. Thanks!

I change mine when I can't stir up enough dry ones from the bottom to have a clean layer on top.

I generally change mine every other day. But I use different material (newspaper and natural paper bedding) if it looks/smells ok then you should be good.
