Fleece Liner: Am I Cutting Too Big?

For my 2x4, I am cutting out liners. Well, I am making sure I prevent shrinkage by washing and drying 3x, AND I am going to be cutting a few inches big. So, it should be 26 by 57 I think. But, I am cutting 30 by 60, so that is 4 more inches wide and 3 more inches long.

Thanks!

That's too big. :) Just add seam allowance and maybe a little extra so it fits snugly. If you're worried, you can keep as is. If it's too big you can always resew it smaller.

A little extra sewing isn't bad til you get the hang of it, but once it's cut it's a real pain to sew it back on. So yeah, keep going, you can always fit it tighter afterward.

I just fold under the extra. Works fine and I don't have to worry about lack of coverage.
