Behavior Licking

So, my guinea pig pepper loves to lick my fingers and she will even put my little finger in her mouth and sort of rest it but i dont like her doing that XD its like a comfort thing i dont know if its cause i have extremly salty skin! as i read on internet it could be too:sorryepper can do it for hours on time just licking and trying to suck my finger? anyone else have this with their pigs?

It's been said it can be either the salt on your skin, or a food taste, like if you cut their veggies before holding them, or just touched some food of some sort, they will lick and bite your fingers.

With my Amy, it's food taste/smell as she'll often do that through the bars of her cage when I've serving veggies. She's only interested in my fingers when I've been handling food, although she licks/lightly nips my arm sometimes during lap time.

Gentle licks and nips are normal and its probably either the salty taste of skin, a sign of afection, or a comfort thing (especially if she sucks on the finger like a pacifier)
Harder nips are a sign she has to pee (when on lap)

i wash my hands after i dish out their food, and she still does its so cute but strange XD
