I was surfing the web today looking at information on my pigs when I came across something I had no idea about. Apparently if you give ur pigs too much lettuce it will lead to liver problems. How much is too much? Can anyone verify if this is true?

That may be true for Iceberg lettuce, but they shouldn't get that anyway. Normally, ROmaine and Red leaf lettuce have no health risks for the piggies.

hmmm.. ya I never feed them anything but Romaine. I started giving them 3 servings a day and they eat it all. Should I be feeding them other veggies as well or is lettuce enough?

I suggest mixing it up a bit, because they can get bored, and it offers a variety of nutrients.

Definately add a variation. Some parsely, kale, (they are loaded with Vitamin C) about 2 times a week. Some brocoli, cilentro, peppers. Its good to change the menu every few days. Piggies get excited and get all their nutrients,.
