Hi all - I'm a better knitter and crocheter than I am a seamstress...does anyone have a knitting or crocheting pattern for a cozy or cuddle cup?

Thanks!

I am a crocheter too and I've been thinking about this. I would guess that you could crochet a big enough circle (maybe 10 or 11 inches in diameter and then start crocheting around and up to make sides (kind of like crocheting a bowl) and then stuff it with some towels and top the towels with fleece. That sounds like it would work. I'd probably use cotton yarn. A cozy is, basically a bag so you could make a 24 inch rectangle, fold it in half, close up the two long sides and, again, stuff it with a towel and layer of fleece. Not very technical, but I hope it helps.

I wouldn't knit or crochet anything for a guinea pig, because they could get their nail caught/torn off if they happened to get their nail hooked onto the yarn. They yarn could also cause problems if eaten. I know what you're thinking of, though! I'd love to do the same thing. I knit and crochet also. I just wouldn't make anything that could be unsafe.
