How Much? Kleenmama's 50lb timothy pellets for 2 pigs... too much?

1/4cup = 1/8lb.
If I feed 1/4cup to 2 pigs each day. That means the whole 50lb pellets will last me 400days. Which is beyond a year. Plus the days where the pellets are in stock and not sold. Will this 50lb stay fresh for me after a year if I put it in the freezer? Should I still be getting a 50lb bag if I only have 2 pigs? or should I go for the 25lb one?
It's a little confusing, hopefully I am clear on my question. Thanks!

I buy 25 pounds for two pigs, and it lasts me 6-7 months. The last time I split the order with a neighbor, which means we all get fresher pellets. Can you find someone to half the order with you?

I'm afraid not as I am the only one that actually owns a guinea pig out of all the people I know. Unless there's someone that lives around the Vancouver area and is willing to split with me perhaps? =D

I buy 50lb of Sweet Meadow and between 3 pigs is lasts almost a year, as long as you keep it in a cool dark place or freezer they should be fine. Or go for the 25lb bag, it is still cheap and lasts long.
