Last night my husband came back late from work and I had accidentaly put the puffs in the pantry. Well he wanted a snack before bed and thought they were snacks for the kids... well, I think he will be reading labels from now on.:yuck:

One time for Christmas I got some beef jerky. Well at least I thought it was for me. I didn't realize it was for the dog until after I had started eating it. Bleh!

My husband ate a dog cookie once, but it did look like a regular cookie. Later that day, he told me he threw the rest away because they were stale. He was pretty surprised when I told him what they really were.

I have eaten dog cookies as well. They arent that bad. They just taste like stale cookies that arent quite as sweet.

My husband used to taste the cat treats before letting them eat them. He said if they weren't yummy then the cats shouldn't be subjected to them.

I bake organic dog cookies for my dogs and friends (I used to sell them too). I gave a friend of mine a bag of the "peanut butter carob button" cookies. She gave her dog one and ate the rest herself. She said they tasted just like health food cookies.

I made a dog cake for my dogs birthday and there was: dog treats, chicken and beef bulion in it. There was no sugar in it or anything alike. My friend ate it when I told him it was dog cake he spit it out. I asked him how it tasted he said not bad!
